Ludi Guide exists for the nights that actually matter, the birthdays, the farewells, the date nights worth getting right. Tell us what you need. We take it from there.

Roy Hammond
24-28 Armstrong St North, Ballarat Central · Craft spirits and cocktail bar
Walk-inEst. $25–40 per head
Why we chose this for you
Roy Hammond is the right opening stop for a lively group. It is intimate enough to actually talk, interesting enough to kick off a birthday properly, and the spirits list is one of the best in regional Victoria.
Walk-in · no reservation needed, arrive close to 7pm to secure the back booth.
Things to try
Pork belly bao
Pork and prawn dumplings
Crispy fried chicken bites
Drinks to try
House negroni
Aged whisky from the top shelf
Soju-based cocktail
Insider: The recycled timber booth near the back wall fits 6 and is the best spot in the room. The bar fills by 8pm on Saturdays so arriving on time is worth it.

Stop 2 · 8:30 pm
Dinner · 90 minutes
Pancho
31 Armstrong St North, Ballarat Central · Modern Latin American
ReservedEst. $50–70 per head
Why we chose this for you
Pancho handles groups of 6 better than almost any other restaurant on the Armstrong St strip. The share-plate format keeps the whole table connected. The energy is exactly right for a 30th.
Reserved · table for 6 under Sarah, confirmed by Ludi Guide.
Things to try
Three dishes worth ordering at this stop. One of them isn't obvious from the menu.

Why we chose this for you
Renard is the right closer. Terrazzo bar, native-ingredient cocktails, and disco until 1am. By the time you arrive the night is in full swing. It is the kind of place that makes a birthday feel properly celebrated.
Walk-in · ask for the velvet booth area when you arrive.
Things to try
What to eat at the finale. Small but worth it.

Questions
Everything you need to know
The planning fee covers everything on our end. We research the right venues for your occasion, build a custom sequence, check availability, and make all the reservations in your name. You receive a confirmed plan with everything you need to show up. You pay the venues directly on the night as you normally would.
Standard plans are delivered within 2 business days. If your date is within 4 days, the wizard applies The Occasion tier automatically and your plan is with you within 24 hours.
Yes. Every plan includes one round of revisions. See the outline, tell us what you'd like adjusted, and we'll update it.
Every plan is built with backup venues already identified. If a venue isn't available, we swap in an equally good alternative and let you know. We check availability before sending your outline for larger groups and weekend bookings, so surprises are rare.
If you change your mind before paying, there is nothing to pay and nothing to refund. You only pay once you have seen your plan outline and decided to go ahead. After you pay, we confirm any reservations and send your full plan. If you need to cancel after paying, contact us as soon as possible and we will do what we can.
Ludi Guide is specifically a multi-venue evening planning service. We build 2 or 3-stop itineraries. For a single table booking, the venue's own website or OpenTable is the fastest option.
Behind the plan
Ballarat nights, planned properly.
I'm Elijah, and I started Ludi Guide because planning a great night out in Ballarat shouldn't be as hard as it usually is. The city has genuinely good venues. The problem is knowing which ones suit your occasion, your group, and your night, and then actually getting everyone in the door.
Ludi Guide takes that off your hands. Every plan is researched, sequenced, and booked personally. You tell us the occasion. We handle the rest.
